23 November - Fringe event at the Folkestone Book Festival
Earlier this year Italian women writers were brought to the attention of an international audience when Elena Ferrante became one of the runners-up to the 2016 International Man Booker Prize. Now Calisi Press, the Folkestone based publishing company focussing on works by Italian women, wants to introduce Folkestone to a selection of lesser known extraordinary storytellers, including Donatella Di Pietrantonio, whose second book, Bella Mia, is being launched on this day.
The event will take place at the delightful Steep Street coffee shop in the Old High Street in Folkestone at 7.15.
Admission is free but booking is adviseable as the venue has limited capacity. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to book your place.
